Events and Programs
Throughout the year, the Forum presents programs in which citizens are invited speak out on issues of importance to the community.  There are also informational presentations with question and answer sessions and entertainments like the “Taste of Wellfleet” and the “Taste of Wellfleet – Talent.”  This section of the website will feature current, future, and recent past offerings.  Consult it regularly for information regarding upcoming events of concern to the town.

WELLFLEET COMMUNITY FORUM PRESS RELEASE

Wellfleet Community Forum Hosts “State of the Town”

and

Welcomes New Assistant Town Administrator

The Wellfleet Community Forum will host Town Administrator Paul Sieloff’s annual “State of the Town” presentation at 7PM on Monday, January 23 at the Wellfleet Council on Aging, 715 Old Kings Highway, in Wellfleet, MA. 

 

Mr. Sieloff will also introduce Timothy King, Wellfleet’s new Assistant Town Administrator, who will be in attendance at the meeting.

 

Mr. Sieloff’s presentation will include a review of the 2012 fiscal year budget and a preview of the 2013 budget, which is currently being drafted; a summary of 2011 Annual and Special Town Meeting results; updates on the Main Street sidewalk renovation and Commercial Street storm water mitigation projects; and status reports on energy conservation, recycling, and inter-municipal cooperation initiatives. 

 

A question and answer session will follow Mr. Sieloff’s remarks.  All are welcome to attend.
